About the Team

Soaring Through STEM

Falcon Force 9121 is a faith-driven FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team rooted in an advanced robotics course that pairs technical excellence with a biblical worldview. We build tomorrow's engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers - one bolt, line of code, and prototype at a time - guided by wisdom, integrity, humility, and stewardship.

From CAD and Java to computer vision and autonomous systems, every design decision is shaped by a commitment to excellence in engineering and humility in competition.

✦ Our Technology Program

What Students Learn

Our program equips students with hands-on skills across a wide range of disciplines:

CAD and advanced 3D modeling
CNC machining and 3D printing
Java programming for FTC and computer vision
Autonomous programming and game strategy
Arduino and sensor integration
Python for robotics and introductory machine learning
Simple and advanced electronics
Robot building, wiring, testing, and competing
Presentations, judging, outreach, and capstone projects

Rooted in Faith

Colossians 3:23

Every lesson and competition is anchored in biblical principles. We build tomorrow's engineers and innovators guided by values that go far beyond the workshop.

What we do

Our Capabilities

Four pillars - engineering excellence, wisdom, servant leadership, and stewardship - shape every season from the workshop to the competition floor.

01

Precision Engineering

We're the kind of team that measures twice, codes three times, and still redesigns it at midnight. CAD, CNC, Java, Python, wiring harnesses - we do it all, and we push each other to get it right. Not for trophies, but because doing your best work matters.

02

Servant Leadership

Nobody sits on the sidelines here. Upperclassmen teach the rookies, rookies bring fresh ideas, and we all show up for community STEM nights because we remember what it felt like to see a robot for the first time. Leading means making room for everyone.

03

Wisdom & Innovation

We love a wild idea - but we sketch it out on the whiteboard first. Autonomous routines, computer vision, rapid prototypes that sometimes work on the first try (and sometimes absolutely don't). The trick is staying curious, staying patient, and learning from every failure.

04

Integrity & Stewardship

We lend spare parts to rival teams, cheer for robots that aren't ours, and clean up our pit area before we leave. Winning feels great - but walking away knowing you competed with character? That's the part we actually remember.

Meet our Competition Robot

Built for precision, speed, and consistency

Our 9121 robot is engineered with a compact chassis, dependable drivetrain, and modular scoring systems so the team can iterate quickly through each phase of the FTC season.

From autonomous pathing to tele-op control, every subsystem is refined through testing, data, and disciplined collaboration between our mechanical, software, and electrical subteams.

What is FTC?

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an international youth organization founded by Dean Kamen in 1989, inspiring young people through hands-on robotics competitions.

FTC teams design, build, program, and operate robots in an alliance format. Through competition, students gain engineering experience, coding skills, and leadership that extends far beyond the field.
